The anvil and it's crew have a combined unit strength of 5. That's just like a normal cannon crew has a unit strength of 3 (4 with an engineer) or a unit of 20 warriors has a unit strength of 20. What is special about the Anvil is just that the anvil and crews combined unit strength will stay at 5 as long as at least one of the crew members is alive.
But the units/crews combined unit strength is not relevant when the enemy wants to kill one single model from the unit/crew with killing blow. It is the models own unit strength that is relevant for that, not the combined unit strength of the unit it is currently part of. The anvils rules say nothing about the crew members individual unit strength, so they are regular human sized models with US 1.
Runelord = US 1
Guard 1 = US 1
Guard 2 = US 1
Anvil and Crew together = always US 5, because of special rule
Unit strength 5 can have an effect in combat, especially if the anvil is attacked by a smaller skirmish or ambush unit, and not by a full remigement. Unit strength 5 will also let the anvil control a table quarter as long as any of the crew is alive. Unit strength 5 also means that even if the single last remaining crew member is killed during a turn, it will provoke a panic test from nearby allied units, because a unit that had US 5 at the beginning of the turn has been wiped out.
The units combined unit strength is important for many things. But it will not protect individual members from killing blow.

Va butent sita dalyka kuri pabreze Imperial, Varnai.
Manau, kad si faktoriu spresime abipusiu sutarimu su dworfais arba 4+ taisykle blogiausiu atveju.
Visi Dworfu turetojai noretu, kad negalima butu Thoreko ar runelordo uzmusti su killing blow, bet nematau niekur parasyta taisyklese, kad Anvilas padarytu kiekviena jo memberi unit str 5.
Prie Shieldbiereriu aiskiai parasyta, kad jie kartu su Lordu sudaro viena modeli kurio Unit str 3, panasaus prieraso prie Anvilo nera.

hm, na nzn kiek zaidziau su Dwarf zaidejais su visais sutardavau kad Thoreka na ar rune lorda galima su killing blow

Na matai, as prisiminiau pirma zaidima pries Krona su Thoreku, kai du Scorpionai buvo padeti i vieta Thoreko be shanso ji nuzudyti, nors 4 ejimus neleido kalti runos. As dabar pradejau daryti Dworfu lista 2000pt, galeciau is ko nors pasiskolinti siek tiek figuru, neradau niekur, kur parasyta konkreciai pas Thoreka ar Anvila, kad jis duoda Runelordui immune to killing blow deka padidinto unit str, tada ieskojau magisku daiktu, galiausiai googlinau ir susiduriau su tokiu paaiskinimu, kuris man pasirode tikslus. Po to skaiciau senesniu temu, kur Dworfu zaidejai smarkiai irodineja, kad visgi Runelordas ir Crewas yra 5str ir ju negalima Killint, bei pateike keliu turnyru ir GT pavyzdzius, "ZODINIUS", kad teisejai sutiko su tuo, kad Runelordo negalima su Killing Blow nuzudyti.

Shieldbeareriai užima 2 pėstininkų vietas, todėl yra patikslinantis prierašas.
Tarkim, nei prie ogrų, nei prie chariotų ar kitų US>2 modelių nėra prierašo, nes savaime suprantama
O anvilas turi apibrėžtą ir nekintantį US5, todėl nematau, kodėl reikėtų modelį "išrankioti dalimis", jog įrodyti, kad prieš jį galima naudoti Killing Blow savybę.
Ir šiaip, kai pirmą kartą susiruošiau naudoti anvilą turnyre, labai ilgai ieškojau nuomonių šituo klausimu.
Berods visi GT ir didelė dalis stambesnių turnyrų turėjo iš'rule'ine, kad negalima Runelordo paKiBinti

Viskas butu gerai, jei butu uzsiminta, kad Anvilas duoda unit str 5 individualiai kiekvienai figurai, ar kazkaip panasiai, o ten GW patingejo kazkaip sukonkretinti ir parase pendrine forma, neuzsimindami konkreciai ar veikia killing blow.
Aisku, kad Anvilas gali uzimti ketvirti, kad kol gyvas bent vienas memberis, jis tures outnumber pries Gorgeri ar Scorpiona ir sunaikintas kels panikos testus per 6" esantiems savo buriams.
