ClogCon is back for 2015 and better than ever! This newsletter will have a short overview of what we have planned and is also here to tell you that tickets go on sale this Saturday, August 1st at 11 AM Amsterdam time. This is ClogCon's 3rd year and has grown even stronger with every passing year. This year for just one entrance fee, gamers can expect nearly 24 hour gaming over the course of Friday - Sunday on December 11-13 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. ClogCon will have every official format for the game of Warmachine and Hordes that Privateer Press currently endorses. This means players will be able to compete for official Hardcore pins, the Masters trophy, and earn official Iron Gauntlet points. In addition, ClogCon is host to the European Invitational, which only invites players who have won major tournaments around Europe. But fear not, one spot in the Invitational is reserved here in our Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). http://www.clogcon.com/eu-invitational-2015/
ClogCon is also not just for tournament players. It is for anyone who enjoys playing the game. We have special tables set aside for players to find one another and play more informal games and win prizes. We'll also be setting up informal Scramblers where we will light off small (3 round) mini-tournaments in a relaxed atmosphere. So do bring all of your friends/clubmates because there is something for everyone at ClogCon.
The way registration will work is that when you buy a ticket, you also enter in the top 3 events you want to play in. We will then assign your top choice pending availability, so it pays to register early! However on-site, waiting lists will be available at each event where you can sign up on the day as well. We have also designed the schedule such that you can drop after 2 rounds in a morning tournament and still have time to potentially enter in the afternoon tournament.
