An idea for a Baltic tournament

Greetings gentlemen, After one tournament in Lithuania, I had an idea to organize a tournamnet on a Baltic scale probably in warmachine/hordes in Latvia with Estonia and Lithuania, probably in mid janauary or february. The aim of this event is to gather as much Baltic players in one location and to spend a quality time, and of course “play like we got a pair :D” Tournament information Date: 23rd January, 2016 Entry fee: 10 EUR Registration time/1st game start: 09.30/10.30 Location: Club Dreamforge*- Aleksandra Čaka street 32; Riga, Latvia • *For organizational purposes, please inform the one of our T.O’s (Matiss Strautins via Facebook or email: strautins.matiss@gmail.com if you are interested in participating, to avoid problematic situations, and to have an estimate amount of players for prizes. • *In an event where the number of participants will be higher than the current venues capacity, the tournament will be held in a different location, the tournament organizer will notify as soon as possible. Format: 35 point Steamroller 2015, with death clock • http://files.privateerpress.com/op/sr2015/SteamrollerRules2015.pdf • Army list: Baseline, max 2 lists (p.9), no specialists, player must select his Steamroller objective for each list. • Painting requirements: Baseline (p.10), front arks are marked. • Proxies: Max 2 models/units (the proxy must have the appropriate model base and the represented stat card (physical or digital), warlocks/warcasters are not allowed to be proxies (they are the centrepiece of the game after all). Time format: death clock- 50 min+10min deployment each (p.10) Round & mission: 4 game rounds • Round 1&2- Destruction (p.13) • Round 3&4-Outflank (p.19) Victory condition: Assassination victory, scenario victory, control points tiebreaker (2nd), army points remaining tiebreaker (3rd), and army points destroyed tiebreaker (4th). Each player also should take with him just in case Miniatures, Ruler, Tokens and templates, Dice. Note We are also considering to have an after party in one of Riga’s coolest bars, if you are also interested, please inform beforehand so we can make a reservation, since it can be crowed during weekends. Does it mean we can have 2 list and play 1 list only or need to play second list once or both lists 2 times? What are the restrictions here?

The second list is optional( it is more like a hard counter list), you can play with single list all 4 rounds if you want, you can also participate with only one list, HOWEVER, there are some restrictions: Both lists can not contain the same named character(FA:C) model or unit, for example, Kommander Strakhov( prime) from khador, can not be listed in both lists, only one.Epic versions,for example,Commander Coleman Stryker(prime) in 1 list and Lord General Coleman Stryker( epic 2)in list 2 is allowed, since epic versions have different stats, spells etc( it is a different model). Same rules apply to Solos and units with FA:C trait etc. Both lists must be led warlocks/warcasters from the same faction. Edited hellbase1 2015-12-15 17:42 |

Hey guys Just for organizational purposes, how many of are interested in participating in the tournament at the 23 January? We simply need to know, more or less, the amount of participants, so we can plan on how much space is needed at event. |
